Notes from the build

Practical writing on WordPress, CSS architecture and the tools that sit between a design file and a live site. Written down so I remember, published in case it helps you.

What I write about

Mostly the messy middle of web projects: the bit after the design is signed off and before the site goes live.

03 — About

Hi, I'm Amanda. I design websites at Itchy Fingers Design and share what I learn building them.

I started as a designer and slowly moved into the build: WordPress, Automatic.css, Etch and, lately, Etch Studio. This blog is where I keep my notes on the parts that took me longest to figure out.
